Another month means another tournament for Barry Town Pan Disability FC and various Pan Disability teams from South Wales.

The tournament was hosted in a windy but dry Newport on 17/03/24.

Barry entered 2 teams as per usual when it came to these tournaments.

The Barry 'A' team were looking to amend there second place finish from the previous tournament held in Cardiff, but because of the change of venue and kick off time to accommodate the weather in Newport, the other 'A' teams from the various clubs taking part didn't enter their 'A' teams, so that meant that the Barry 'A' team players were mixed in with the Barry 'B' players. Which created 2 separate teams from Barry (Yellows and Greens).

As the tournament kicked off for the Green team of Barry, they came up against Tranch in their first game and won by the tight scoreline of 1-0 thanks to a goal by Ibby, it should of been by a larger margin but the attack of Barry wasted multiple chances.

In their second game it was the battle of Barry Greens v Yellows, this game was a score draw of 1-1, the Greens goal was scored by Curtis via a deflection.

2 games for the Greens of Barry and still undefeated the coach (Dave) was pleased by what he was seeing. The next game was against Aberystwyth Exiles and again came away victorious with a 2-0 win. 3 games played and 3 wins for the Green kitted team of Barry. In their fourth and final game is where their undefeated streak came to an end, thanks to the feet of close neighbours Cardiff City. Cardiff beat Barry 2-1 with a consolation goal scored by Ibby.

As the tournament kicked off for the Yellow team of Barry, they came up against Aberystwyth Exlies in their first game and won with a scoreline of 1-0. In their second game it was the battle of Barry Yellows v Greens, this game was a score draw of 1-1, the Yellows goal was scored by Ryan from about 10 yards out of the box following a corner.

Thier thrid gamwe of the tournament, the yellow team came up against Tranch and again won, this time with a score line of 2-0. Just like the Green team the yellow team of Barry was undefeated. The coach (Taran) was happy with the performances of his players. In their last game against Cardiff all they needed to do was better the result of the Green team of Barry. Not only did they better there result they done it emphatically, with a comfortable victory of 6 goals to 0. Which meant that the Yellow kitted team of Barry went undefeated with 3 wins and 1 draw from 4 matches played and took home another trophy for the cabinet.

The Green team of Barry finished in second place with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.
