The first tournament of 2024 for Barry Town Pan Disability FC is less than 1 week away.

The players of both the A and B team have been put through gruelling training sessions on Tuesday nights since the start of the year, in preparation for this high stakes tournament, which will be held in Leckwick, Cardiff, hosted by Aberystwyth Exiles Fc. Both the A and B team have had a one friendly match respectively also in preparation for this tournament. The A team played Vale of Glamorgan League Championship club St Athan 3rds and the B team played Cardiff City Foundation.

Following on the from the last tournament in November 2023, which was held in Leckwith, Cardiff and hosted by Cardiff City. The Barry Town A team will be looking to build on the impressive undefeated streak they currently have, which creates lots of pressure on them, but if they play like they do in training, the players should not be scare of any teams they come up against. The B team on the other hand will not be heading into this tournament just to make up the numbers, if the B team players carry over the good form and team ethic which they have been displaying in training, they will cause lots of problems to the opposing teams at this tournament and will walk away with their heads held very high.

A full tournament report will be uploaded on this blog after the tournament takes place. The link for the report will be posted on various social media channels, including Facebook (@TheDeafFootballer) and Instagram (@JJ_deaffootballer).
