On the second Bank Holiday weekend in May, Barry were looking to bring Cambrian back down to earth after they beat Barry in the Cardiff tournament hosted by Aberystwyth Exiles (link below) earlier in the year, Barry did just that as the two teams squared off in a local derby at Jenner Park.

Barry went into this game on the back of a disappointing 8-4 defeat against Pentyrch Rangers Vets, But in true Barry spirit the players didn't let that affect them and proved they are one of the best Pan Disability teams in South Wales by beating Cambrian with a scoreline of 10-2.

Barry's emphatic triumph ensured that the victories between the teams is brought level on aggregate with a score of 1-1 with two matches played.

Joe got Barry off to the perfect start after slotting home from Jason's inch perfect corner, a second goal soon followed, after some good work by Greg and Ibby down the right wing meant Joe made himself known to the Cambrian keeper by putting him under pressure which made the ball spill out to Curtis who had a tap in. Cambrian had a few chances of their own, but the Barry defence marshalled by Greg, JJ, Ryan and Rob made sure the scoreline remained 2-0. After a drinks break around the 20/25 minute mark, the charismatic Barry coach Dave, kept pushing the players through until half time, because of this, Brandon was able to find the back of the net to make it 3-0 to Barry. Another Barry attack led to another corner, this time from the left wing which floated to the head of Ryan, who smashed it in the goal, to ensure Barry extend their lead to 4-0. As half time approached, Cambrian managed to get a goal back after Kieron sliced his kick which fell to a Cambrian player who managed to find enough height and accuracy to get the ball over the back peddling Kieron and into the Barry goal. Half time score read, Barry 4 Cambrian 1.

Changes were made by both teams as the second half kicked off which meant Barry lost their way a little bit but managed to regroup and extend the lead even further thanks to Jason's in-swinging corner from the right wing, which evaded everybody in the box and went straight into the goal. Cambrian pulled another back after this, as the Barry players didn't close down or tackle the Cambrian player which allowed him to get a shot away which flew passed Nathan into the Barry goal. 5-2 to Barry.

Joe added his second, third and fourth of the game in quick succession, before being substituted as he collided with the post. at the point the score line was reading 8-2 to Barry. as time was ticking away towards full time, Barry made sure to increase the scoreline into double digits. Jason got his second of the game after some excellent work which allowed him to curl the ball past the Cambrian keeper from the edge of the box. the 10th goal was added by the 'Barry Kante' Costa, after dribbling passed a few Cambrian players, he was tackled but managed to regain the ball and turn onto his left foot and blasted the ball into the goal to seal a dominate victory.
